Teto loves the Del Rey Lagoon. We usually start off on the grassy field next to the baseball field and then walk towards the concrete embankment of the channelized creek on the other side. When I first noticed this lovely piece of guerilla street art along Esplanade Street a year ago, it made my day.

Teto thought it was a good modification, too. Now the imagery finally matched the text. He is does not care so much about art, but he can be a stickler about proper syntax sometimes.

Passing by on recent walks, I was sorry to see that Mr Chihuahua had been removed…

Then, yesterday, right after we passed the sign, two little white dogs on leashes lashed out and yapped and yipped at Teto. Their attached humans, meanwhile, remained engrossed in conversation with each other, rather non-apologetic about all the ruckus.

This is when Teto realized that this was actually a warning message, apparently meant especially for him.

Well, thank you, LAMC. We will stay vigilant.
